The World’s Richest Barista Competition run by Café Culture Magazine has aligned with Fine Food and in 2016 will be run at Fine Food Queensland on 10-12 April.
Taking place over three days at Fine Food Queensland, teams of baristas from around the world will battle it out on stage to take home the $50,000 prize pool in the World’s Richest Barista competition.
The challenge is designed to reproduce the pressure of what happens in great espresso bars and it’s dynamic format will showcase the talent of some of the world’s most accomplished baristas.
Café Culture will also be holding business talks and workshops for the café community designed to help them build a more profitable business.
“The café scene in Brisbane is changing rapidly and this new partnership puts Fine Food Queensland at the centre of this” says Minnie Constan, Fine Food Event Director.
“We are excited to be part of the food industries largest event and this partnership with Fine Food will give the coffee industry new opportunities for networking and growing sales’ says Kevin Chilvers from Café Culture.
The World’s Richest Barista Competition in 2017 and 2018 will be held at Fine Food Australia in Sydney and Melbourne.
