FSAA Breakfast Forum
The FSAA Breakfast Forum will be held during Fine Food Queensland by Carlita Warren, Policy & Public Affairs Director Restaurant & Catering Australia.
In 2014 Carlita presented on the state of the restaurant and catering sector and will update us on the current state of affairs.
Carlita is currently the Policy & Public Affairs Director at Restaurant & Catering Australia. Prior to this Carlita was the Director of Tourism at the Tourism & Transport Forum (TTF); a not-for-profit CEO forum representing the largest tourism operators across the tourism, transport and aviation sectors.
Carlita has managed key policy forums and submissions to influence government policy settings on immigration, country of origin labelling, liquor licensing and tourism marketing. Carlita has been an active participant in government reviews including the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade’s Review of Export Policies and Programs, the QLD Government’s Safe Night Out Strategy, the NSW Visitor Economy Taskforce, and the City of Sydney’s Late Night Economy discussions.
Carlita has a strong understanding of economic development policy, having worked with government and industry stakeholders to support tourism infrastructure investment across Australia. Carlita contributed to successful advocacy which led to the redevelopment of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney, the development of the Three Capes Track in Tasmania, and expanded convention and exhibition facilities in Adelaide and Sydney.
She will presenting on the current restaurant and catering environment, the challenges and future trends in this crucial industry sector.
